How to transfer money between accounts with different primary account holders
(Cross account transfer)

You must first create a “cross account transfer password:” 

  1. login to your account.
  2. click on Member Options (this gives you a list where you can change several things on your account)
  3. click on cross-account password.
  4. leave the “old password” field blank.
  5. enter in a cross account password for your account. It should be different from your actual login password.
  6. confirm this new password.

 To perform the cross-account transfer: 

  1. click on “x transfers”
  2. enter in the account number you will be transferring to.
  3. enter that account numbers cross account password.
  4. click on select suffix
  5. you can choose which suffix you are transferring from, and which one to transfer to, and the amount.

For example, if Joe Smith, account 1111-1 wants to transfer to his wife Jane’s account, 2222-2, he would need to log in to his account 1111-1, follow the x transfers sequence, enter 2222-2 for the account to transfer to, and then enter Jane’s cross account password that she set up for her account.

There will be no balances that show up, so the account information is still private.
